Diagnostic Radiology Services

Reeves County Hospital District Department of Radiology and Imaging Services
The Radiology and Imaging Services Department has a vital role at Reeves County Hospital District (RCHD) and that is to provide imaging services to the community and its surrounding communities with paramount care and dedication from our well experienced staff. Our Imaging Staff has a combined 45 years of experience in different modalities such as CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional and Vascular Angiography, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiography.

RCHD Radiology and Imaging Services Department is a fully computerized and filmless environment with the use of the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) from NOVARAD. We archive all our images on site with one back-up onsite and one back-up offsite for a more secure archiving process. Our PACS is a web based PACS so the physicians may access our very secure PACS server whereever they are as long as there is internet access. Within our PACS, the physician can see all the images as well as the scanned reports from Nighthawk Radiology Services (NRS). The NRS reporting system is very secure and complies with all State regulatory and HIPAA compliance regulations as well as the credentialing of all the Radiologists that read and interpret our images.
