Physical Therapy Services at Reeves County Hospital District
Physical Therapy Services treat disease, injury, and disability by assessment, examination, and use of rehabilitative procedures. Licensed Physical Therapists evaluates the level of function of disorders and implements the appropriate procedures to maintain, improve, and/or restore these functions.
Licensed Physical Therapists are on staff and they work closely with your healthcare provider to evaluate your situation and determine a plan of care specifically for your needs. Experienced physical therapy assistants and technicians are also on staff to assist the physical therapists with your care.
Inpatient and outpatient services are available with diagnoses ranging from TKA, shoulder derangement, stroke, crush injuries, hand therapy, to wound care. A certified wound care specialist is on staff in the Physical Therapy Department.
Physical Therapy is also provided in the hospital's Swing Bed Program (Skilled Nursing Care). Whether it is wound care or rehabilitation services that are needed, providing these specialized services locally on both an inpatient and outpatient basis releives the burden of travel for our patients enabling them the convenience of staying closer to home with friends and family.
